Apparently there is a new update but I get an error whenever I try to check.

Edit: They released an update for the Apple TV with that build so maybe it's just for the Apple TV.

I haven't heard anything about an update, but I get the error on my iPhone 5.

On the front page of MacRumors, it says Apple releases 5.1 update (10A406e) for Apple TV 2nd and 3rd gen.

Maybe there's an update in the pipeline due to reported bugs?

When iOS 6 was just going live OTA, I was getting the error when checking for update before it went live........:rolleyes:

So the hamsters at Apple accidentally attached the Apple TV update to all iOS device update streams?

Hopefully its a legitimate update for IOS6....there are SEVERAL concerns that need to be addressed to make this a quality OS.
