ok- i've browsed the forums
a lot
and found several conflicting ideas/opinions on this one

so which is better
V710 or E815?

better to me would be:
- good/great speakerphone
- works w/ 10.9.3 bluetooth/iSync/iCal/Addressbook- seemlessly
(where are the hacks for this if i need them? i found vauge references to them in the forums but nothing specific)
- OR do i need to go w/ 10.4
- ability to text message w/ ease
- really good service -- esp in rural areas- ie the "extended area" concept works well on the phone as i tend to travel a lot to rural areas-
- possible ability to use AIM or other messaging service- how does Verizon do this w/ their cell phones? do you pay for min? or just Text messages? or what?
- Games- any for free? what do they cost...etc
---
camera/video...etc - is cool- but not really all that important to me right now

thanks in advance! - i'm lookin forward to this awesome phone purchase soon!

i think for the isync part you need tiger and the latest version of isync.
but i think i'm going to get the E815 this weekend chech out howardforums.com
if you wanted to hack it, you need a pc with bluetooth and a data cable...

If you need good service in rural areas you might want to consider the v710. It's tri-mode while the E815 is all digital. Check out Verizon's coverage map, because some rural areas are still analog... in which case you won't have any service. I just got a v710... great so far:)
