Slow Mission control and Full screen mode

when i swipe 4 fingers up for mission control, the screen jerks, it doesnot occur in a fluid manner or smoothly. Same occurs when switching over to full screen, it occurs in a jerky manner (it doesnot occur smoothly)
Please Find me a solution
It's MacBook Pro, Late 2011, 13", i5, 500 gb
