It needs to be updated. Try going to m.youtube.com in Safari, or use Jasmine youtube player from the AppStore.

iParis macrumors 68040 Sep 30, 2012 #6 Needs to be updated. Looks like iPhone 5 users will be joining iPad users in sticking with YouTube mobile for the time being. Maybe they're waiting to update it so they can do both devices at the same update.

dontwalkhand macrumors 604 Sep 30, 2012 #7 I wish Google would hurry up with this one, but yes M.Youtube.com works flawlessly. They did recently update the Gmail app for iPhone 5, though I don't use it.
