Twice this week, I've been led to an aspx extension file while surfing via Firefox. Both times it has locked up Firefox. Can anyone explain this? One was that Walkman phone link, and the other was on a supposed PDF download link.

It probably doesn't have anything to do with the .aspx extension. That just means that it was processed on the server by asp.NET. So what came back to you was still normal html, but it was something else within the page that caused the problem.

Is there anything more specific you can say about the pages? Could these just have been random crashes, not related to what you were viewing?

It's hard to say what might have caused it from these pages. One was from my student loan processer at Suntech and the other was a link to the Sony Walkman phones that was posted in a thread on MacRumors Forums

It just happened both were aspx...
