OK, now I remember just a month or two ago apple upped the standard RAM in their iBook's to 512MB, now I was looking around the site, and brand new PowerBooks standard ram is 512 - 2 256MB sticks, so the iBook is upgradeable to 1.5GB and the PB (low end) is only upgradeable to 1.25GB... Hmm which would you buy? I'd go with the low end iBook if I didn't care about the screen size, but I'd rather have the 15" Powerbook for viewing things

PowerBook. It's more expensive, but the widescreen display alone is worth it. (And I love how the keys light up in the dark...)

There's certainly only a very limited batch of reasons for getting the 12 inch PowerBook over the iBook. But I consider the larger PowerBooks to be in a league of their own.

Yeah 12" or 12" has never been easy. The 32mb of VRAM and aluminum finish being two of the big ups (but, some prefer the plastic).
