Hi all.

General question..... Is it possible to remove a driver on the Mac?

For example, hen you have KERNAL PANICS..

I know you can boot into 'Safe Mode', and the PRAM reset, but not mich else, apart from taking it to an Apple store.

Kernel panics = generally memory or other hardware problems.

removing the kernel module will most likely NOT fix the root cause of your problem.

Sure you can. Just be careful about removing kext files needed for system operation. Often at the top of a crash log after a kernal panic you can see info that will clue you in on what might be happening.
