Just for kicks I disabled iMessage today

Nearly doubled my battery life. I am used to charging my iPhone 5 before I leave work (60%ish). Today when I left, my iPhone was sitting around 87%. LTE was on all day in an average to low signal area also (work walls dont like cell signal).

Anyone else experience this? Im going to leave it off for a week to see if it persists to be this good.

If you turn your phone off, you will have an even better battery life!

I tried this and my battery still drained 0.000001% over night, thats not normal and I will be going into the Apple Store first thing in the morning to complain, this thing is supposed to last be all day.

I've been thinking of turning iMessage off because it seems to be really slow at delivering messages lately or it doesn't deliver them at all and reverts to a regular text. Maybe I'll get more battery life as an added bonus.
