Dude you're waaaaay off topic for this thread. And anyway, this isn't the MacCult.com web site, it's MacRumors.com, where people can discuss rumors or anything else Apple (or even non-Apple) related. And if that includes intelligent criticism of Apple, so much the better. Since this site is by its nature speculating on the direction that Apple products are taking, then it makes sense for people to comment on wether or not they think Apple is taking the right direction.

Ummmm...to get back on topic: I like the De La Soul ad. I like how they weren't saying "I use a Mac because I'm a technophobe" the way Yo-yo Ma did. They just said, "Hey, we use a Mac to actually make music that's on our albums." That's an excellent message, since I think it reinforces to the average consumer that the Mac is the better creative tool (though of course the average consumer is 10x more likely to use the Mac for light photo or video editing rather than composing music). Great complement to the Digital Hub strategy.

Anyways, Yo Yo Ma's ad is great. Plus he plays cello, which instantly makes him cool:cool:

Yeah go Einar Orn! lol, im jk. I think the best new one it Yo Yo Ma,
but that is probably because I am obsessed w/ crouching tiger,
hidden dragon. Well, the Will Farell ones are kinda funny, but
they aren't that funny. BUt the main reason I don't like them is
because they barely promote apple at all.
