I need help from top Apple Lisa experts at MacRumors. I recently uncovered a vintage original Lisa. Here are the numbers...

SERIAL # B08B831920003

APPLE # 00102003

MANUFACTURED: 83192

MODEL # A6SB100

I know this is a Lisa 1, but is this Lisa #102. The date code seems to put it at the very beginning of the Lisa production run in mid-83.

Update: This is Lisa #3!

I was in a state of shock when I found out this is the third Lisa of this 1 series!!! I don't know if there were any other series before this.

Here is the 486th Lisa 1, on eBay right now for a low $4599!!

It has serial # B08B832310486

And date code 83231

The Lisa 1's are numbered consecutivly, as it turns out.

:D :D

But it's been upgraded to a Lisa 2. No Twiggy drives, no original faceplate. As a collector's item, it's much less of a machine than a non-upgraded Lisa 1. Of course it's going for $2599 Buy It Now and not $5000 or more which a true Lisa 1 would go for.

Not sure if you really do have Lisa #3.

I have a Lisa 2 that was a Lisa 1, purchased from an ex Engineer at Apple.
My date code is 83061 and Applenet number is 00100598.

Assuming the Applenet number in fact started at 100000, I have unit #598 and you have unit #2003. This would be reflects in the date codes as well.

Does anyone know how the date codes work?

I have an Apple Lisa... Any Experts Still Out There?

I have an Apple Lisa:
Serial # A4300191
Applenet # 00107393
Manufactured 4300

The Mouse:
Model M0100
Serial #G433M010001042

The Keyboard:
Model# A6MB101
Serial# 1040539

Can anyone help me figure out what it's worth and what to do with it next?
I'm not sure if it works but i'm also not sure that it doesn't.
Thanks

First, thanks for your input. I appreciate your time. It's in great condition except for a small tear on the fabric of the screen. And just to be totally clear, it is part of that 1st series of Lisa. I've attached some pics.
Thanks again!

Thats in good condition, sadly the screen is what matters the most. The highest i have seen a lisa go for on ebay was around ~3000$ or a little more. Its pretty hard to sell it since its big money and not a lot of people buy it. But if someone wanted to buy yours it would be worth i think around ~2500-3000$. Not entirely sure but you should check ebay/craigslist and see what they are sold for. I can see that you have the keyboard, Do you have the full System?
