here.
I'm in the Newfoundland time zone (GMT -3:30) which is not listed on my iPod. Is there any way to get my iPod to support this time zone? I find my iCal stuff is syncing (incorrectly) all data thirty minutes late or early (e.g. to the next/previous time zone).

Shouldn't the iPod support manual time zones somehow

Thanks for any help.

I get the same issue here but judging by the responses, there aren't many of us. I told Apple at the time but they don't really seem to care. :(
I searched the forums for "ipod time zone" and didn't find that... odd.
I'm comforted to know I'm not *totally* alone.

You could always move somewhere else :D
Ah yes... for every simple problem there is a difficult and costly solution. I just arrived here, FWIW.

I've been contemplating putting everything on Zulu time (UTC) as a quick fix.

I guess I'll be firing off an email to Apple... :(

Mines the same. Set to Sydney time but alarms go off from iCal on the iPod at GMT!

That's weird. At least you have a time zone though (well, it's under Brisbane from memory). Our problem is more that we are halfway between two time zones so all the events in iCal are out. :(

Why can't the iPod be set to not support time zones, and just be set to the 'puter it syncs with? That's a simple enough solution, right?

I shall ponder this further.

Anyway, I'm off to class. I hope I'm not a half hour late   :p
