I have the Seagate Hybrid Momentus XT 750GB f2nd generation installed in my MacMini. It doenst make writes to the SSD, as its running the very first firmware.
I heard there is a firmware updated so that it enables write to the SSD cache. I searched Seagate website, but found no updated to the 2n generation models.
Can anyone telll me if its possible to make this update? And how do I perform it? I have a external hard drive I could use as boot, if needed
