App Store down in uk

The App Store, iTunes and iBooks stores all seem to be down right now. People also seem to be having trouble with iMessage.

They might be being redesigned again.

cant access app store on iOS, and on my mac, the store seems to be broken. the 'shelves' as apple like to call them are just a long list one underneath each other.

Nice to know its not just me.

People on twitter are reporting a major outage due to US storms. No idea if that's true or not

Suppose it could be the storm, or it could be something to do with the new iTunes they're developing?

I managed to update my iPad apps half hour ago......

It could be Sandy, it would make sense.
At least I'm not the only one.

i hope its nothing to do with the new itunes thats 2 days or so away lol

Just checked again now and it's loading up blank pages - looks like its still down.

Do apple ever put news out of outages and fix times ?

Only it appears to have killed my apple id at the same time and 4 resets still not it to the apple account on their website !

Glad it's not just me, then!

Doubtful ... iTunes 11 has been delayed till the end of November.

App store up again and slow, any ideas on why it made me change my password though ?
