I just ordered a 2012 Mini mid level, standard configuration. (4G RAM, 1T HDD 4x2.3 i7). I will get 16g of RAM, I may not need that much but it's so cheap, what the heck!
I will need a small monitor and am open to suggestions. Actually I am open to any and all comments and suggestions.
I also purchased AKG K271MKII headphones that should work fine for my applications, recording live bands with 2 mics at FOH and playing around in my room without disturbing my housemates.
I am leaning towards a Presonus 22VSL interface. I am wondering if the 22VSL will power the 271s enough to overcome live sound?
VSL head out= 30 mW/ch @ 60 ohm load
271 in= 200 mW/ch max @ 55 ohms
Any thoughts?
