I'm new to the Macbook Air. I want to install Acrobat Pro XI by inserting the CD in my Macbook and then having my Macbook Air share the Macbook's optical drive with Remote Disc.
In my Macbook, I checked sharing CD/DVD in System Preferences. Also, I'm using the same wifi network with both laptops. But when I go to Remote Disc on my Macbook Air, nothing comes up.
Am I missing something? Am I wrong to think that sharing the same wifi network is the same as being on the same local network?
