A lot of case makers, especially the ones at Etsy, eBay, and Amazon seem to think that the iPad Mini will be able to fit in a Kindle Fire case. This is simply not the case, and I have taken some shots of my Kindle Fire with my iPad to show you. I left the Smart Cover on because it's much easier to tell the difference since it stands out much better than just sitting the KF on the Mini without it.

Even if the case was a little thicker, it wouldn't work (and it would be a horrible case for the Kindle Fire actually too because it'd slip and fall out).

The Mini pretty much has the Kindle for lunch.

I agree. I put my mini next to my fire and the .9 inch difference is just unbelievable..

Wow, I'm shocked. Two different sized tablet can't share the same case.

Seriously you thought it would fit the mini ?

Of course not. I was just pointing it out because people seem to think otherwise (especially Etsy shop owners who have basically just edited their listings to include it because everyone else is). If the case stretches out, sure it'll be okay, but a lot don't and are specifically made to fit around the Kindle Fire's bezel.
