Is it ok to DELETE xcode??

is it ok to delete xcode tools? its a 500mb file, and i dont think i'll EVER use it....??? 😕 😕

Xcode is for compiling applications. If you never plan on compiling anything then you don't need it.

Xcode is one of the few apps to use an uninstaller. Don't just drag it to the Trash.

I figure the OP was talking about the installer, because the Developer directory is more than 500mb.

Heh, I hadn't even noticed the Installers folder before.
