hi all
I'm looking to move from a wintel platform to a macintosh, and i really liked the 12i powerbook. Still, i have found a second hand 15i pb, 4/2004 version, with 1,33 ghz, 1Go Ram and superdrive for 900$. So my questions are:
- Is it a good deal, knowing that the 12i powerbook costs 2200$ in my country?
- What should i look for in case i buy it, to ensure it is working well?

That is a pretty good deal!
As for making sure it works, I'd run the hardware test CD on it. To do that, put in the CD that came with the PB and hold down C as it boots up. Then, you can choose to run the hardware test. Also, look for cosmetic damage that may clue you into drops and other abuse.

Once you go mac, you'll never go back; they're GREAT !
