Hi guys need your help. Just bought a new mac mini and a samsung hdmi/vga monitor. I tried to connect my mini to the monitor using an hdmi cable but nothing happened. Help? Does this mean samsung monitors arent compatible with mac or mac mini wont recognize hdmi/vga monitors? Anyone with great suggestions on monitors to use with mini?

Is the monitor set up to display images coming from the HDMI input. Dumb question I know, but since most monitors have multiple inputs make sure the monitor is set to HDMI

My Mac Mini is working fine with my Samsung SA350 Monitor.

In the Monitors on screen menu try setting the input to Auto and it will flick through all the inputs until it finds a signal :)
