iPad Veo case turns off iPad4 from behind!

I've just bought a Veo smart case for my iPad4.

It was less than half the price of the Apple ones and it looks and feels nice.

When I open the case and fold the front right over around the back, the magnet turns off the iPad from behind.

Is this a common thing? It is very annoying.

When watching youtube reviews of iPad cases with magnets, I have heard reviewers specifically mention when the case doesn't put the iPad to sleep from the wrong side.

Based on this, I'm assuming that this is a problem that can occur if the case designers aren't careful.
