Saw it in Office Depot for $14 bucks and thought, "I don't need another bag or custom case... i like the smartcover just fine" .... "and the iPad mini slips into this thing like a glove. + a paper notepad & pen holder and plenty of pockets for other stuff.

.... Works for me ...

is there a pocket for the mini? or are you just setting it on top of the pad of paper and hoping it doesn't fall out?

Yes, if you notice there are two slits to the left of the center when open.

Cool, is it thick enough that you could stick a slim bluetooth keyboard in there too? Or is that asking for too much? :o

Great idea. I've seen some of these that have zipper closures, gusseted pockets and the like. I'll keep an eye out at office supply stores.
