How to use diskutil and disk tool

Does anyone know how to rename a partition using diskutil.

Does anyone know where i can get the man pages for these apps.

1) you can (maybe) only change the mount location - partitions dont have names, logical volumes do

2)there are none - apple doesnt like people fiddling with unsupported stuff ie. what they cant get their help desk people to learn.
