iPod iPod 20GB Features

Hi All,

I notice that the new iPod Nano can sync contacts and calendar with Outlook and it also has a world clock.

Has the software for the 20gb been updated to support syncing with Outlook?

No, there has not been an iPod software update, but the Outlook syncing feature is supposed to be a feature of iTunes, not the iPod, so if you upgrade to iTunes 5 you should be able to do it.

That being said, we also hope Apple updates the iPod software so that the plain iPods-- and maybe even the now defunct iPod minis-- will have some of the new features the nanos have such as the world clock, screen lock and support for lyrics.
