Hi

Having had my fingers burned with a fairly old G4 tower off ebay Im tempted by a friends offer of a 9 months old Emac G4 for £300. My sole purpose for the machine - aside from some online stuff - is to record my own music with access to Pro Tools plug ins. Obviously the Emac has no card slots, but does have 2 firewire sockets. My plan would be to buy an M audio firewire card compatible with "Pro Tools M powered". Is there any intrinsic reason - eg compatibility issues - why this could not be done? Any advice gratefully received. Best wishes Phil
