Bought a White MB late 2006 with 10.7.2, 2GB ram and when I browse with Safari or Firefox, the net is veerrrryyy slow..almost unuseable. I did a software update that took me to 10.7.5, but that did not fix it either. I have the Atheros 5416 chip, Firmware version 2.1.14.9. With a ethernet connection, its fast.
This is for my daughter who specifically wanted a white MB..almost ready to re-sell it because of this problem. Is there a fix for this?
