My new iPad with retina display arrived today and everything is absolutely perfect except for twitter. It is the only app that seems to be messing around. The settings for what notifications you get within the app settings keep changing without me touching them, and to add insult to injury, I don't even seem to be getting push notifications for Twitter anyway. Notifications are fine for all other apps.

It was absolutely fine on my iPad 2 but has suddenly become a problem. I have tried deleting, and redownloading the app and also tried a hard reset, but nothing seems to be helping.

Any ideas?

Unsure what to suggest with the official Twitter app but I'd highly recommend TweetBot as it's a far more polished app, you can do everything from the timeline, see inline images, no having to keep going to tweet view just to view a link etc and the push works great.
