I'm planning on repainting my room, and the current color is an off-white and it is pretty boring, so here's some examples:

Redish

I like the dark one. Neutral and cosy but possibly a little claustrophobic...

I am a firm believer in either white or a light neutral tone for walls - bring colour into a room with pictures and accessories. If you are bored of white/off-white then the "brownish" one looks best to me, sort of a nice taupe colour.

A personal choice of course, but I choose blue, though a slightly paler one than you show. You don't want it to detract too much from other items, as dietcokevanilla suggests.

I like the grey one.

I'd go with just one or two walls with the tinted color and the others a white of some sort to compliment it. Having an accent wall really works nicely, especially if you make all the walls a dark color it tends to make everything too dark.

Good luck,

D

I really like that last blue one. Either that or I would go with a dark browny-red earthy color.

All those colours look good, except red.

There, I helped you narrow it down from six to five options. *gives himself a pat on the back*

I like natural earthy colours. Anything that's warm. I think the brownish colour looks really good.

I like the yellow. The billiard green will make you sleepy. The gray works if you use your computer for design. The green, if it were Apple green, would be nice also.

The mustard and the blue look the best with what you have hanging on the walls.

Mix all the colors together and paint your wall the color that comes out :)

I don't really like any of the colors. I like more neutral colors, but I'd go with the brownish-red or the blue.

I think the blue looks awesome but I don't think it would work in real life. :(

I've just painted a room in my house light grey walls with dark grey (almost black) ceiling with a blue-grey accents (doors, blinds).

Or go with a deep red, beware though it took me 6 coats to get the nice deep red colour.

light blue [but not baby blue, a more lively tint] with 2 orange stripes down on one wall and a horizontal stripe that goes around the whole room... make these colours really bright... but if you must go with those colours, the dark is nice...

I'd do a mix between the dark and the blue... like a dark grey blue. I post of my brothers room that looks really cool in it.

I headed up a paint department for 10 years and I must say, I've seen some pretty tasteless color selections. However, all of the colors you picked look nice. If you want to have some real fun, I'd pick the most boring wall and paint it a much deeper mauve than the reddish one you chose. I'm talking like burgandy. Then, paint the other 3(?) walls that taupe color you chose. It will add a lot of color to the room without making it too dark.

Why not a nice white color with a blue stripe?

Either that or an iPod white.

But seriously... a nice 40cm stripe of blue running through your room of white could look very nice.

I personally like the earthy red and navy blue, but that's just my opinion.

I hate white bedrooms! Especially mine! It used to be a yellow, then we painted it about ten years ago with this blue that's so light it's a white. Ugh! It's really bothering me now...

Man, I'd be so embarrassed if that was my room. I'd FORCE myself to care and fix it up. :p

Guessing that when a girl sees your bedroom, the first thing she does is comment on the walls. Am I right? Am I?

I'd go with the brown color. Grey's depressing, and the other ones will put you to sleep..."Oat Straw" is what we used in our last house, which is a little lighter and more neutral than the brown you posted.

but I shouldn't be laughing., I was too lazy to find sheets, so I'm using the sheets that match your wall paper.
