Hiya

I know that the G4 series from the GigaBit Ethernet and on have a special connector next to the AGP slot for +25 or +28 volts.

However, the FW800 has another one of these special connectors on the other side of the AGP slot. I have searched though service manuals and Apple's specifications, and I cannot find what this other connector is used for.

Do you have any idea what this connector is used for, and were there ever any video cards that were made to take advantage of it?

Looks like it was probably there incase new graphics cards needed it. The G5 showed that this didn't happen.
