WTF happened to my emails? 10.4>10.4.2

half of my email in Mail (POP gmail account) just dissapeared when I upgraded from OS 10.4 > 10.4.2. This is ridiculous. I just reinstalled toger last week on my dual 1.8 g5.

Funny thing is, spotlight is able to find "missing" emails as is the search window within Mail. But they don't show up in the mailbox window.

thoughts?
 
In the Mail preferences, under the Advanced tab, is the GMail account enabled? There should be a check box.
 
yerp. i guess i'll have to call applecare. they'll probably tell me to do an archive and install.
