Well I just so happened to go into the Refurb store online and found a 15" PB 1.67 Superdrive for $1899. SO as much as I wanted to wait for the new ones to come out I think I am going to order this one now. Its a great deal thats the only reason I can't wait.

The sudden drop of Refurb prices is a clue to new ones coming out... just a thought.

1899 seems like a normal refurb price, if anything too expensive since the EDU price is cheaper at some colleges.

Well two days ago the computer was $1999. SO $100 off. Not a bad deal. When I was gonna pay $2099. And I am pretty sure my college bookstore doesnt sell Apples now that I think about it.

i am not 100% sure on this but i am 99% sure you can return a refurb. i don't see why you couldn't? if the seal is not broken, you should get back a 100% refund minus shipping charges.

Maybe they just decided they wanted to actually sell a few more of the refurbs lying around.
We're not particularly expecting new models, after Think Secret's report this week.

I pulled my hair out for 10 months waiting for the PowerMac prices to drop and drove all my friends
looney so don't feel too bad about indecision.
If you already cancelled, at least you'll have better peace of mind next week.
Buying through the school store is a great way to save
once you are ready to roll.
