Can I connect an Ibook as a firewire drive to a PC?

I tried to connect an ibook to a PC by starting it as a firewire drive (holding the T key) but it didn't work. Can this be done?

Well since PC's can't read a Mac Formated Hard drive, at least standard, then I'd say no. Same reason I can't use my iPod as a Portable hard drive on my work computer unless I format it as a windoze iPod.

There's always MacDrive http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive6/. Not "standard", I agree, and I haven't personally tried it either.
