Hello,

for some reason, when I was setting up my new Mac, I made two different users. The first one is "jhaprade" which is the default admin and the second one is "pradeep" which is a user.

However, I dont want to keep two users and want to make the user "pradeep" as the admin folder and get rid of "jhaprade" completely. All my files and documents are in the "pradeep" folder. Does anyone knows a sure and safe way of doing it? I don't want to mess it up :)

Login to the jhaprade admin account and go to Users & Groups in System Preferences and change the pradeep account to an admin account.

Now logout of jhaprade and login to pradeep. Go to Users & Groups in System Preferences again and remove the jhaprade account.

Since your files/data are already in pradeep, the data will still be there. Any data that was in jhaprade will be gone.
