iSight Problem HELP!!!

I just got a new isight and I want to get it all working properly so when my GF gets home i can suprise her, but when i try and do a video chat it says that I am the one that didn't respond?? what gives??? can anyone help!?

I wish my mates from school had macs... then i would have a use for iChat AV and i would defo get a iSight...

Make sure that all the firewalls between you and your chat partner are open for the ports ichat uses and that all routers forward these ports.

Sounds like a port-forwarding issue on your router or a firewall issue on your Mac. Be sure you've set up the ports (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93208) correctly.
