accessing icloud alias on android?

I just made the jump to an Android phone(I can use a non-jailbroken iPhone and there's been almost no progress since the 4s), and I can't access my icloud alias as a separate account like I can on iOS/osx and windows outlook, it just keeps telling me my user name and password are wrong , yet it allows my primary icloud email no problem, any advice?
