The editing didn't take that long goofy :D ;)
Concept, script, editing, saving enough money to shoot this completely ourselves.

Wow, that was really good. Are you planning on selling DVD copies? It looks better then some of the stuff that actually makes it into the theaters these days. Looks like it could be a film that takes a while to get recognized, but eventually does fairly well in the theaters. Well, hopefully its another blair witch story of success. ;)

What game did you make and where can it be found? Also: that not liking the gangsta thing about the funny accents could be considered a racist comment :D
Anyway, nice job, can't wait to go see it in the theater! Maybe you could show the trailer to a few local theaters and ask if they would be willing to show it.

I have mixed feelings about this film. Many of the comments here make feel this is a film like "Natural Born Killers".
And then after research, we find out that you are pandering to the lowest needs of society. There is no Columbia County, Maryland.
While the preview that you showed is impressive, the guerrilla marketing that you are using here on MR is miss leading and not keeping with our tone.

Interesting. No Columbia County, Maryland? The whole marketing approach becomes clear now, they are definitely going for a "Blair Witch", or like you said Chip, a "Natural Born Killer" angle. If so the marketing on MR has been a little bit misrepresentational about the contents of the film.
If it is marketing the fact that illegal crimes were comitted and filmed, and that the whole "crime rampage" really happened, then we find out that there is no Columbia County and the crimes were staged then it is a kind of false advertising.
Definitely playing to the "Reality" T.V./Blair Witch crowd.
However all that said, the production value on the Final Cut footage looks good and the site is pretty nicely designed and the actors do a decent job of making it appear pretty realistic.

Well said. In other circumstances I might have gone to see this film. Now given the "truth:, I will not.
BTW, there is a Columbia, Maryland - which is in Howard County, Maryland. I am not willing to forgive ANY studio for even a "minor" miss statement of fact, for such a "powerful" film
Hope they fail. I might just Google other sites, just to set the record straight. But then again they might hope that even bad publicity would help their now hopeless movie.

Bear with me as I do not own a video iPod, none of us do. But we figured people who do don't have a whole lot to watch on them.
The iPod video can be found here, OST2 is my personal hosting account, it will be uploaded to the movie site soon enough, but I wanted to get this out to any iPod owners right away.

Please let me know how it looks and any thoughts, both on the movie itself and/or video quality.

production values look good, a bit of 'over-acting' but that is hard to shake when making an indie. As for the story it looks interesting, but a bit like Blair Witch meets Natural Born killers...that being said nothing is original nowadays, and I wish you luck in sundance and future fests, I am sure it's a good film!

Do you have any real evidence to support this? I mean, it's not like this is supposed to be real. It's fiction, just made to look extremely real. Does this (http://ilovebees.com/) look familiar to you?
I liked the trailer, and I'm looking forward to being able to watch the whole movie.

If you are truly and indie with a vision and the drive to make your movie the way you want, then I wish you luck - regardless of its content. If you're a studio shill attempting to start some buzz for another "reality/documentary" expoitation flick.......the truth will out eventually.
BTW - If you ARE an indie, you should take it as a compliment that viewers think your trailer slick enough to have been produced my a major.:)

Looks legitimately indie for me. Was at a film festival last week and some of the stuff put out by students at NC School of the Arts looked pretty sophisticated -- most of it cut on Final Cut too.
Gotta say that the Flash looks better than the movie. The multimedia shop Instapop (http://www.instantpop.com) has some pretty high-end clients. Some one either knows someone or has some money to burn (or access to daddy's credit card).

Thanks alot, we are not a studio, we literally paid for this outta our own pocket. :(
But we hope a studio picks it up
To the last person, there is a reason the video does not look like a "movie" so to speak. The whole idea behind the movie is these kids used a handheld camera to record their last hours. Meaning they had a camera from Best Buy, not even prosumer level equipment.

Dont wanna be an ass but just saying it like it is.
1. Chances of a studio picking this up, less the 1%
2. If a studio were to pick it up, it would be Lions Gate (even they prefer film)
3. The quality looks good and and the editing is good for a Mini DV Film, props
4. Your best bet of getting any of kind of notice is Film Festivals and if liked, it will be a straight to DVD.
5. If you send ur stuff to studio's they will turn it down but like I said if you screen it at festivals, they will come looking for you witch puts the ball in your court
