well even if it were true, you sort of lose you whole "portability" aspect of the powerbook. By that I mean, take those water cooled fans away and you'll have a melted 17" hunk of aluminum in your lap!!!

Good point, Jobs kept saying that the G5 would be the one to break the fabled 3GHz barrier. If he only knew... 😛 🙂

I’m sorry, this is just a stupid joke! I only played a little bit with parts of my colleague’s current XPC mod. The 5,86 GHz is just a random number.

man, what a waste!!! if he would have put that cooling system on a dual G5 he could have clocked it to at least 7.2GHz!!!!! lol!
