Got the new iPad 4 and the Apple Smart Case.
It states to remove the iPad from the case before charging.

Will charging the iPad with this case on overheat or damage the iPad it's self?

Why is there a cut out for the charging port if you are suppose to remove the case when charging?

Not sure. I believe that it states to remove the iPad for charging.
This is second hand information that I received.

False story is false....

Never heard that before and it sounds utterly ridiculous.
I mean it has a cut out for a reason.
Besides all that its just not true, I've had the smart case and never removed it except to clean since it was released. Please note: this on my iPad3 which is known to heat up. NO PROBLEMS EVER.
