I have 768MB in my rev. a iMac G5. Got more music/video work on the horizon. Planning at some point to pull out the stock 256 and get a 1 gig to make it a total of 1.5 GB. Has anyone made this upgrade? Improvement performance noticeable?
thanks

That'll most definitely help with video work. The more RAM the better. :p

When I bought my iMac, the first thing i did before even turning it on, was install a 1 gig memory card. The iMac i bought is the most recent one with 512mb so it boosted it up to 1.5 gig, which i must say is amazing. If your looking into cheap good memory, look into this site.
