My home area in Croxley, Herts is now all black and very low res!
It used to be green and high res?

London is still fine but my area has changed in the last few weeks. Any ideas what's happened to their data?

Google Earth data is still fine

as you can see in the bottom left of the picture, there had been some developments. So the black and white is an updated picture.

Yes, but the quality of the image is much worse -- that's what the OP is asking about.

I'm guessing it's because the updated imagery is from a different provider than before.

Maybe they just got the photos on a rainy day ha? I always see some areas too shiny, some areas not... but never seen black&white... colours should be a problem... the important thing is the having the ' LAST ' map.
