Now Katie, I know we both hate the Big MS, but they did give us Office. :)

Love 'em or hate 'em, Microsoft has made quite an impression in history.

OpenOffice for Mac sucks. Nothing more needs to be said there. Now, 2.0 beta for Windows is very promising and I am considering replacing Office 2003 with OpenOffice on my Toshiba.

Two good things to have come from Microsoft:

1. Office - deny it all you like, but it's a brilliant piece of software.

2. My 'tar.

Happy birthday Microsoft. :)

Happy Birthday! Microsoft has been giving us Mac users a reason to feel superior for thirty whole years now! (although I would take Office over OpenOffice any day).
