Last April when Apple announced the new Power Mac, I picked this one up along with the new release of Final Cut Studio and Photoshop CS2. I've only used it to edit three jobs and it is amazing! I really hate to get rid of it, but recent financial obligations force me to. (Car broke down, 2nd baby coming in 2 1/2 weeks)
I have all the original installation CDs/DVDs and manuals for all software and hardware. I also have the factory boxes for both the computer and the LCD monitor. I purchased the Apple 3 year extended warranty. Since I purchased it only 5 months ago, that means it is warrantied for another 31 months! (But nothing has gone wrong with it yet.)
Computer:
Dual 2.0 GHz G5
1 GB RAM (2x512 MB)
2 x 160 SATA hard drives (one for system, one for video/audio/data)
10/100/1000 Ethernet
Bluetooth wireless
Nvidia 9650 w/ 256mb RAM
Firewire 400/800
USB 2.0/1.1
16x Dual-layer DVD Burner (Superdrive)
Extended 3 year warranty
External Peripheral:
Bluetooth wireless Keyboard and mouse (Apple)
Dell 20.1-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel LCD (UltraSharp 2005FPW)
Software:
Original OS X 10.4 (tiger) installation DVDs
iLife '05
Photoshop CS2 (boxed software)
Final Cut Studio (with all manuals)
- Final Cut Pro 5.0
- Motion 2.0
- Soundtrack Pro
- DVD Studio Pro 4.0
- Compressor
- Live Type
Current retail prices:
Computer (as purchased): $2,497
Dell 20.1" WS LCD: $699
Final Cut Studio: $1,299
Photoshop CS2: $550
Total Current Value: ~ $5,050
Asking - $3,550
I live in Denver, Colorado. Buyer would be required to pay for shipping - whatever method they prefer. (I will get a quote before I ship) My 1987 4Runner needs a new head, and I can't drive our minivan to work forever.
I am willing to sell the monitor separate if needed. I would prefer to sell the computer and software together, but would be willing to sell software separate if it sold first.
This is my first selling through a forum. I've sold before on Craigslist (where I have this posted) but never in a forum/ebay. Any suggestions would be welcome.
If you live in Colorado, you can have the custom desk I made for it. It will be a while before I can afford another one:
