Is there a way to change the monitor output to be 16:9 instead fo 4:3?

I have a Mac TiBook with ATI Radeon 9000

Your talking about an external monitor, right? The TiPB is 3:2. And what OS are you running?

I am running 10.2.2 Jag

And yes, I mean the external monitor.
