Using iPad as picture frame without having pics on iPad eg Dropbox or home sharing?

i love using my ipad as a picture frame but havent a lot of space on my 16 gig pad.

is there any way of using home sharing for picture frame or using picasa or dropbox or something else to replicate this?

No, the picture frame pulls from your Camera Roll so the pictures need to be there. You could however use Dropbox to just download the ones you want without taking up too much space.

but is there another app that would do the same thing as picture frame?

Probably, but I don't know of one. I do doubt there's one to pull from Dropbox though since the picture frame would have to communicate with another app. Your best bet is to just download what pics you want and use those. You can always delete them later to switch them up.
