Adapter for IHome?

Hello, is there an adapter that would work and make it possible to use our Ihome alarm clock that was for the Iphone 4S and would like to try to use it still for the Iphone 5 if at all possible? Solutions? :confused:

I have the one on the left, but I use my iPhone five with a speck candy shell case. And it doesn't fit. Is there a lightning extender.? Like a lightning to lightning piece?
