You should "learn" how to use "quotation" marks, it can make "your" post very incoherent when "used" incorrectly.

no airport card can be added you might want to do some research on the g3 ibooks

Notation: NO Airport extreme, but an original Airport card can be installed and you could use a USB Bluetooth adapter.

Heh. $400 on a g3 ibook, I was flirting with the idea of buying it just to see how well it ran. My questions went to the heart of my needs.. and while I understand that USB external components can be added... why would I do that to a whim/iBook?

We have a lot of folks around here who disasemble these things, add what the want.. or rebuild from ebayed pieces. I didn't think BT was ever an option on the ibook g3, not sure if there's a way to even hide it internally.

Either way, the $700 refurbed 1.2GHz g4 ibook on apple.com is looking like a better option.

dude your really crapping my thread , go get the refurb one and stop the crapping this is not state your opinion thread this is the markketplace. here are pic with my screen name for th guys who didn't read the first post. In the pic you can see the fresh install also.

Already beatcha to it :p

Anyway... your laptop seems like a great deal for someone with your lowered price. I am sure there are many people out there considering it. Just remember, it CAN in fact use an Airport card.

That is a great looking laptop, and faster than my g3 500 that I just sold locally for $475. Of course, it did have Airport, but also had less memory and a smaller hard drive. If they won't offer you enough on here you might try craigslist if you have a local one.
