Any iPad apps like Scrivener?

If yes, do these apps add the ability to use a stylus and convert handwriting to text?

I have been done a few searches and mostly came across apps for note taking that take advantage of a stylus but nothing dedicated to a writer.. I also read Scrivener may make an app for iPad/iPhone but theres no update on that.

Thanks in advance.

You may want to wait it out. Scrivener for iPad has been in development, and was "supposed" to be released by end of 2012... Maybe coming sooner than later.

I'm holding out for Scrivener's iPad version, and in the mean time I'm using Elements to sync my Scrivener projects to my iPad.

Not a Scrivener type app, but 7NotesHD converts handwriting to text.

I use Storymill on the Mac (have used Scrivener in the past too). I've read in their forums they are working on an iPad version.
