Just a question - when do the archives get emptied out?

Do the archives stay on this site forever? Or do they just leave and the posters post count remains the same?

Do all the posts stay on the site even?

There are still some good tips and relevant solutions in the archives though. :)

I wonder how much hard drive space the entire MacRumors forums take up...

But sometimes I find myself browsing the older stuff and it's actually kinda interesting to read how it was back then. Like speculating the Power Mac G5 and what not. Kinda like a walk down memory lane :)
