Hey all,
For a while (at least half a year) my good ol' MacBook Pro (late 2006, core 2 duo) was having troubles starting up after being completely shutdown for longer than a day. Because of that I didn't shut it down anymore, always put it to sleep. Today I shut it down for 5 minutes to clean the screen and after that it didn't boot anymore.
The symptoms are the same like half a year ago except that a smc reset doesn't help anymore. All that happens when I press the power button is the sound of the optical drive and the light on the front turns on. The screen remains black. Tried multiple smc and pram resets but no succes this time.
Anybody has any ideas? Your help is very much appreciated!!
