Albums loading slow

I have about 20 albums on iOS6. some have 20 pics, some have over 3000. It doesnt matter which album i pick, it will take forever for the images to load and sometimes they dont load at all, will just show black space, however when I tap the black space it will load a photo. Seems like the thumbs are screwed up. Suggestions?
