Usually nowadays when I use iMovie '11 on my MacBook (early 2009 model, running OS X 10.8.2), sometimes when I click anything on the program, it will just open up the capture window and prepare to capture from my iSight webcam, when I DID NOT CLICK ON THE "IMPORT FROM CAMERA" BUTTON!
Is there some kind of problem with the program? It can happen when I click something in the event library, or any other command. (It just happened two minutes ago when I clicked "Share.")
